Writer Guidelines for Food Writing Ezine

Food Writing is a bi-weekly ezine whose role is to provide for the care and feeding of food writers. Each issue offers job listings and markets for food writers. Articles include how-to articles on the craft of writing, finding new markets, creating a niche, selling more writing, and the writing life.

Articles run between 500 and 1000 words. Articles must be submitted on spec, and the pay is $20 per accepted article. Payment will only be made through paypal. Reprints are acceptable. All articles must offer unique and focused information on writing, or, even better, on food writing.

Do not submit articles on food, cooking, or reviews of cookbooks.

Food Writing accepts approximately 30 freelance articles each year.

Email submissions and queries to pwhite05 (at) twcny.rr.com . Put "Food Writing Submission" in the subject line, please.

Please do not send me your C.V. nor ask me for article ideas. Do not ask me for a job, please. Don't call me Mr. and do not ask me why it is taking so long for my staff to reply to your email. (FYI, I have no staff, work out of my home, do most of my work sitting on the couch using a laptop computer. )

If you still feel you have the best article to offer me, please send it along!  Thanks!
